Friday Surprises & My Mind

I keep forgetting to bring my camera to work to show a little progress on scarf #2 , but it's almost half done as of now. In the midst of forgetting my camera this week, I forgot to bring my whole purse today. I think I'm getting old. On top of that, it was 90 degrees last night and so of course I had to enjoy a few drinks with my friends Robin, Ian, Chrissy on the lakeside. I just couldn't resist. It ended up being 12:00am before the ruckus subsided and let me tell you...it's not much fun knitting with a headache. Grr. Remind me to go to bed early tonight. My nice surprise #1: My girlfriend Melissa [Main page] sent some pics of us together. She was visiting during the month of June with Bob, her boyfriend and another friend of mine. See how cute Melissa and I are?? Hmm?? My nice surprise #2: My thoughtful boyfriend picked me up some yarn yesterday when he traveling for work and happened to be cruising by the Hobby Lobby. He must REALLY like me, cuz I don't think he's bragging to his friends that he picked me up a nice green, wool blend, if you know what I mean.
