Tada! Here's the product of my hard work. A baby hoody for a one armed baby. Kidding. Sort of. It happens in places like Chernoble (or at least I heard anyway). Ok, enough about one armed babies. Started finally sleeve #2, but haven't gotten too far this week. It's been filled with lots of surprises and changes. I welcomed three, YES THREE!, new additions to my cute, little condo since last Friday. The first being Peanut, my next youngest sister. She finally graduated from college (MSU) and by finally, I mean her exhaustion, not mine. She moved in Friday evening and has finally settled into a place of her own where her belongings are not in a closet that is 3x5. [I'm sure she'll point out all the highlights of college living in a full thesis, if you like that sort of thing, just ask her]. She's pretty happy about that, strike that - ecstatic that her toothpaste and underwear don't share the same abode - and I'm happy to have her here in the cities with me. I think the mother hen thing just shined through a little bit. The next being two little furry creatures adorned with the names Turbo and Diesel. Two little ferrets. So far, so good. Oh yes, there is a lot of love in our house and let's hope there is a whole lotta patience in there somewhere, too! And so it is I, the knitter nerd. Here is my journey of yarn and other things to share. It's a place where I can keep everyone aprised of my "insanity" called life. This page was inspired by my then fabulous boyfriend and his loving taunting of my new hobby. [Little does he know that makes him the knitter nerd's boyfriend, and now ahem, husband.]

Congrats!!! OMG ferrets!!! I am so flipped out by ferrets..I am scared to death of them - weird fear - not sure why..ok. I am done with my ranting. The hoodie looks great!! Have fun with your new roomies!! Cole
Cole,
What experience did you have with ferrets? I have to ask. I have an unusual phobia of frogs. Is that strange or what, too! I watched an epidose of this on Dr. Phil once. The lady featured had the same phobia. Dr. Phil asked her if she thought the frog would do some sort of frog judo and kick her ass? Made me feel sort of silly... P.S. Glad you like the hoody!
The hoody is very cute...but a very big fan of the 'preppy bag'!!! Very cool! I would totally buy it!!!
I think Collette's freak out has to do with our hamsters always getting out and Crystal and I telling her they were going to end up in her hair that night...crazy kid believed it...and she slept on the top bunk...I was the one that had sh*t to worry about! There was one we never found!!
I think Colleen hit it on the nose..I have a fear that they will latch on to my arm and I will be running around screaming (think Tommy Boy bees scene)!!!
