Rib Scarf #2 & Izzy's Noose

So tonight I really started on the "bulk" [some of you will get that joke] of ribbed scarf #2. It was going along just great when my dog Isabelle, see what resembles an Ewok and/or the Cheshire Cat in the picture on the left, found her mini tennis ball. The Itty Bitty Ball as they are named for little dogs, such as Isabelle, are wonderful. She's a 7 pound ball of fury, naturally you can see the attraction to something her size. In my meditation and own world of calmness and knitting, I failed to see that my highly-amused dog had wrapped herself in my yarn. She had managed to manuever the yarn around her neck like a Chinese Finger Trap and knew that she was going nowhere fast. I finally realized what she had done just in time. It scared me more than anything, but maybe it's time for one of those retarded "yarn barns" before my dog strangles herself.
